I don't do much baking anymore, since I moved to Bristol I've been stuck with a teeny little kitchen with barely any worktop space! So I usually make the most of my mum's big old table (and ingredients!) when I pop back to visit her in Devon.

At the moment I'm laid up in bed recuperating, so I thought it'd be a good chance for me to think up a little Christmas wishlist for myself. Over the next few weeks I'll also be doing gift guides for everyone you can think of, as well as little ideas for decoration, wrapping & things to consume!

Last Wednesday, I travelled up to a rather drizzly London to check out Next's Spring/Summer 14 collection. As always, there was a lovely mix of colour, patterns and fabric, this time situated in the super cool London Film Museum.

Christmas is sneaking up as it always does (less than 6 weeks now, guys!) and Halloween & Bonfire Night are out of the way, so it feels okay to talk about it.. autumn/winter styling with new look.

I was recently sent some New Look goodies to style up for the chance to win £50 in vouchers to spend in their store. The three items they sent were so gorgeous, an outfit popped into my head almost instantly!

I have always been a big lover of body art - whether it be henna and transfer tattoos, or more permanent modifications like tattoos and piercings. I recently got a tattoo that means a whole lot to me, and thought I'd compare it with some temporary tattoos from Fickle.

When you see your other half every day, it can sometimes get dull really quickly. You start not doing special little things with each other, because you're with them all the time. It all gets a bit lost in between all the daily life stuff. So it can be good to take a day, or even just a couple of hours, to do something special with each other.

I am always looking for new things to enhance my little room in Bristol, so when notonthhighstreet.com offered me a couple of things to review, I jumped at the chance! I seem to have a constant need for extra storage for hats & scarves, and I have a morbid love for dead things, so chose these candy ball hooks and antlers!

A couple of weeks back, I popped down to my local Marks & Spencer to pick up some samples of their new Gastropub range. These two were limited edition, which makes me a little sad because they were so yum!

While browsing my Pinterest boards for something to write about today, I noticed this rusty, burnt orange colour popping up a lot in my a/w style board. I think I just love the connotations of this colour - autumn leaves, bonfire night, glowing embers & fireworks, the warmth of this colour when it's so cold outside...
