I have always been a big lover of body art - whether it be henna and transfer tattoos, or more permanent modifications like tattoos and piercings. I recently got a tattoo that means a whole lot to me, and thought I'd compare it with some temporary tattoos from Fickle.
Each cute little pack comes with 2 tattoos of the same design - so you can either share with friends, or if you really like it, put another one on when the first wears off! They're so easy to put on, but I found they work best & last longer on firmer skin (ie. not on your boob.)
There are loads of cool designs, but I felt the sleep one suited me so well and looked perfect underneath my moon tattoo, especially when it had faded slightly to match the tones. The ice lolly one was super cute too, although it's probably more of a summer design!

Now, onto the design that is forever inked into my skin! This year marks 10 years since my lovely Grandad died. It also marks 10 years since I met one of my closest humans & best friends, Oli. As silly as it sounds, I like to think that this was not a coincidence. So, it made perfect sense for Oli to design & tattoo this tribute to Grandad.
The great man himself used to play the trumpet, so this image evolved. I love how Oli made the numbers in the dates look like music notes, and the dots make my eyes so happy.

Lovely new tattoo, I love all the swirling movement it has to it, and it's so nice that the numbers are encorporated into the design.
ReplyDeleteI got my first one a year ago now, but want to get it expanded somewhat, but I can't quite make my mind up! I love the sleep one as something of a doormouse myself!
