butternut squash soup with crispy chickpeas.
Bloody hell I love soup. I've gone a bit soup mad lately. I find it really comforting to make and eat, and you can make a whole batch and keep it in your fridge or freezer for a speedy meal.
Most of my soups start out in the same way, but a few changes to the spices and a couple of extra additions make this one a little bit more special!

desert boots and dungarees.
Little hints of Spring keep teasing me into thinking I can wear outfits like this and not freeze to death. It was perfect a couple of days ago with a light jacket, but now it's chilly again. At least I can look forward to wearing this when the weather decides to be a bit more reliable.
