Last week, we launched The Creative Initiative as a way to encourage us all to do more with our arty skills. The theme was a free sketch and I used it as an excuse to draw an abstract moon. Did you join in?
Even if you didn't have the time to get involved last time, you still have the chance to be part of this growing community! Just use the link-up tool at the bottom of this blog post!
This week's theme was kind of difficult for me, as I tend to do my drawing on Thursday morning to blog about it straight away. So I've done a silly little sketch of something I will hopefully be doing later today!
We're off to meet one of Doug's brothers for lunch later, and I'm a bit nervous because I've hardly met any of his family! I keep telling myself "what's the worst that could happen?" Also, I'm really hoping for some kind of currywurst for my tea, as we'll be hanging around the German Christmas market later, before we head to a gig... so I combined the two, along with some of my terrible wit.
If you want to get involved, just follow these simple rules:
• create something in your sketchbook based on this week's prompt
• post about your artistic endeavor on your blog and link it up to this post
• comment on other bloggers' posts - the prompts leave a lot of room to use your imagination and we should all support and encourage each other as we explore!
You can view all the people who are involved & next week's theme below! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in your wonderful creative brains!

ReplyDeleteWell, I stuffed that up! Haha, you may notice I added my link, buuuut for some reason my photo turned sideways when I published it and I can't seem to fix or delete it! Mind if I ask for a little more info to be involved- I'm such a n00b! Should I also post everyone elses links, or is that just a host thing? (Couldn't seem to figure out how to do so!)
