girls' night out with gala bingo.

Unless you count one of those little games you can play at home, I've never played bingo before, so I was pretty excited when Gala Bingo asked if I'd like to take 3 of my best ladies as part of their Girls' Night Out project.

I used it as an excuse to head down to Devon and have a much needed catch up with Charli, Beth and Sophy. The combination of moving to Bristol & Doug coming home means that I've been a rubbish friend and hadn't spent much quality time with them, so this was a good way for me to make it up to them!

Charli & Beth had been before, but Sophy and I were bingo virgins and a bit worried about how it all happened! Luckily the girls explained it to us, and the super friendly staff were on hand to help with anything. The manager James greeted us and showed us to our table right next to the bar! It was decked out with streamers, party poppers and even a free bottle of fizzy stuff!

Tracey the chef came and spoke to us personally and asked if we wanted any food, and we even had a chat about a local burlesque night that she attends. The barman Andy was really friendly too, and they all made us feel extremely welcome and helped us have such a good night.

The actual game was way more exciting than I thought it would be! We were all scared about shouting out, but it ended up that only Beth won some money (although we had decided beforehand to split any winnings) we were so close to full house a few times too... frustrating. I can really see why people play often.

By the end of the night we were rather merry, dabbed our noses & decided to head our seperate ways, all vowing we'd be back for another game of bingo at Christmas!

Thank you Gala Bingo & Best British Bloggers for such a lovely evening!
