I travel around quite often, and if I'm away for more than one night I take my iPad with me so that I can blog on the go, and keep up with all my social networks and emails. There are a few apps that are so useful for blogging while on the move, and I wanted to share them with you.

During a charity shop hunt the other day, I bought this knitted top (plus a couple of others) and as soon as I got home I started planning lovely simple outfits (see bottom photo) This is the first of a couple that I dreamed up. Quite a massive contrast to the colourful outfit I posted the other day! I've wanted a dark grey/black maxi dress for ages now, and when I saw this one in Internacionale for £12.99 I had to snap it up. I think simple dresses like this one are an important staple in a wardrobe, especially as this one looks good with my beanie and flatform kicks, and will also look effortlessly cool with sandals and big sunglasses in the summer.

Doug visited for a few days over last weekend and, as ever, it was a lovely time. I wanted to share some photos of what we got up to. Our days included naps, adventures in Bath and Bristol with friends, drinking, eating, watching things, more naps, cooking some delicious food, lots of tea, laughing, cuddles and kisses.

Anxiety and work often don't mix very well. While for some people deadlines, stress and problem solving spur them on to work harder, for others it leaves them in a crumpled mess, quietly weeping under the desk.

I got an email about this cute lookbook video yesterday and had to share it with you! The colours and prints have got me so excited about spring. I've got my eye on the shirts, dresses and those comfy looking wide cropped trousers. I can definitely see myself lounging about in those in the sunshine!

Hello! Sorry I've been so absent from the online world lately - Doug came to visit, then I got flu, then my girls came to stay, so I've been up to my eyeballs. 

Yesterday, whilest paralysed by anxiety (I start volunteering this week, a little late due to the flu, and I'm really really nervous about it) I decided to do something productive and alter a couple of shirts I got while in Paris last summer.
