I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year. On one hand, Christmas is over & I'm now feeling the pressure to go out on New Year's Eve, but on the other hand, I feel like I have the chance to start fresh and make some positive steps towards making my life even better. It can be tough finding a sense of balance.
I was having a look through last year's goals and realised that I've stuck to most of them without even realising. There are a few that still need work on, but with the help of the DWYL New Years Revolution kit (which should still be available for free at the top of their homepage!) I'm going to give myself two or three main goals for the year, and then some mini goals each month - these could be part of working towards my main goals, or just seperate little things I'd like to do.
I'll be posting them on Being Little each month, and letting you all know how I get on, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

So, my two main goals for 2014 are:
• improve my health
• get back into work
They sound simple enough, but they have both been huge challenges for me over the past few years, so I've broken them down into easy steps. It's never too early to start your resolutions, so tomorrow I'll be taking that first tiny step.
In a couple of days I'll be posting that monthly goal blog post, too!
Do you have any resolutions this year?

ReplyDeleteI never make resolutions in all honesty because I get stressed out too easily and don't think I'd be able to handle the pressure (as ridiculous as that sounds!!) xx
