#NextmasMoments festive afternoon tea.

As I mentioned the other day - on Monday, I donned my Christmas jumper (AGAIN!) and hopped on the train up to London for the Next Festive Afternoon Tea with lots of other bloggers!

I met a little gang of them at the train station and we headed over to Brown's Hotel - which is gorgeous by the way. There was even a man in a top hat in the lobby, and cinnamon sticks in their decoration around the door! Not used to such grandeur..

We were directed upstairs to the Roosevelt room, where there were three big tables with crackers, gingerbread men & stockings on our chairs! We found our seats, grabbed a glass of bubbly and stood around chatting until the food started coming in.

Oh my god the food.

There were little finger sandwiches, tiny cakes, and warm scones. And they just kept getting replaced with fresh ones. All the time. I didn't want to leave! It was so delicious! 

After a quick game of pass the parcel, we decorated some baubles (most of us were unimaginative and just put ours & our partners' names on them!) and some gingerbread men. I was rather pleased with the multicoloured moustache on mine.

It was just the loveliest time, and I left feeling very festive indeed!
