Continuing my nice things to do on a Sunday... last Sunday I wandered down the road to the Tobacco Factory Sunday market! It was an absolutely stunning morning, not a cloud in the sky. This also meant it was pretty chilly, so I wrapped up warm and treated myself to a hot chocolate with gooey marshmallows.
The market is pretty small, but full of gorgeous stalls. I should've taken more photos really. I didn't have much money, so mostly just wandered around looking at the beautiful handmade things and all the delicious-looking food! There were a lot of cat-related things, which obviously made me very happy!
There was also a pretty good book stall, where I managed to stumble across one of my favourite books ever! I've been meaning to replace it for ages, as I leant it to a friend who never gave it back.. and for £3 I couldn't really say no! Had a little chat with the stall owner about the writer who also directs two of my favourite films!
Do you have any weekend markets near your house? Maybe you should go exploring on a sunny day!

ReplyDeleteAhh, such a huge fan of Miranda July!! I also let a friend borrow the same book, and recently got it back after helping her move. I enjoy that they quote Dave Eggers as he's also one of my favorite writers. :)
