I've juuuuuuust about recovered from my trip to London! It was totally exhausting, but I had a blast! By the end of the 6 days or so I was there, I felt like it was my new home, despite staying all over the place! Here's what I got up to...
• THURSDAY •
I had the WORST journey ever, but when I got to London I met Ella and we had a nice cup of tea, and I felt much better. We headed north east for the In Love With Fashion event, which was cool. Got to meet some people I've been wanting to meet for a while, and everyone was so lovely! It wrapped up earlier than expected, so I met my friend Ed and we had dinner at a Caribbean place called Negril, somewhere in/near Brixton. I highly recommend it! Then we got some wine, watched Weird Science, Adventure Time and some silly YouTube videos, and hit the hay.

• FRIDAY •
I had a lazy morning while Ed went to work, and he
emailed me the best map ever to find my way back to the bus stop. I
headed into central and wandered around looking at the festive sights
and drank tea until it was time to go and meet one of my best girls,
Blondie. We had dinner and wine, and then headed out to a night called Lucha Britannia which is AMAZING and I highly recommend it. It's a
Mexican wrestling night, and it's like watching a comic come to life! I
now want to be a wrestler.

• SATURDAY •
Blondie and I had a lie in, then went
to her friend's house for a late lunch of fajitas. His housemate then
cooked a massive pot of chilli and invited us to stay (it was a very
Mexican 24 hours it seems..!) we bought some more wine, their friends
came over and we ate lots. Our friend Chloé also popped over for a
while, as she lives nearby, and she sold me her old Fred Perry cardie
that I had been eyeing up for a while! It was a lovely, chilled night
full of laughter.

• SUNDAY •
It was so sunny when we woke up! Blondie went
off to work, and I went to Liverpool Street to meet my Ella bella. We
drank lots of tea and had a little wander. It was so busy around Brick
Lane, as they have a really popular market on Sundays. We managed to
find a shop that Ed recommended, which has REAL LIFE CATS living inside.
It sells really cool illustrated stuff too. I can't remember the name
of the shop, but it's luminous orange and is just off Brick Lane
somewhere.. we wandered around a bit more, before heading back to
Ella's, where her mum fed me a LOT of delicious food, and we giggled
late into the night.

• MONDAY •
Ella and I did a spot of shopping and had lunch,
before I was supposed to meet Oli and Chloé... unfortunately they were
both super poorly, so I had to pester Ella a little longer! It did mean I could get ready for the Motel Rocks Christmas Party at hers which made things a bit easier! I met up with Michelle and co, and we managed to get there early so we got to choose something from the Christmas collection! I'll do a whole post about that another time, but it was SO much fun! The free cocktails were lethal, and I thought I was going to die on the tube.. and when I got back to Ed's I had a glass of wine - what was I thinking?!

• TUESDAY •
I woke up pretty early and felt so chirpy. Got up and ready for a press day and then the hungover hit me! I felt HORRIFIC.. was probably worth the pain though. I couldn't face the press day, or even eating lunch. Said my goodbyes and napped most of the way home. A couple of hours later, I was cosied up in bed, eating dinner and watching things on 4od and iplayer. I was asleep before 8, and slept for about 15 hours! Bloody good little trip :)

Aww, sounds like a fun=filled few days, glad you enjoyed it and I have been hearing all good things about this Motel Party! :) X
