This time next week, it'll be the final day of Bestival. This morning I've been writing lists trying to work out what I need to take! I've been to a few festivals before, but every year I seem to forget what will be really useful.
What are your festival essentials?
What are your festival essentials?
SOCKS, lots of socks.
ReplyDeleteIf you are camping, take bin bags & duck tape, can be very handy. Make sure you take warm things for the evening & to sleep in.
a mirror for your makeup, lots of wet wipes & toliet paper
:)
have an amazing time
xx
Baby wipes, dry shampoo, pain killers, plasters, a few tea bags and sun cream xx
ReplyDeleteface wipes, baby wipes, bin liners, flower garland, pro plus, hoodies, pocket mirror!
ReplyDeleteHave an amazing time (jealous!) :p x
baby wipes baby wipes and baby wipes
ReplyDeleteoh and bin bags have a multitude of uses! xx
Cereal bars, waterproof poncho, bing bags, money (keep it safe), a tent would be handy...a pillow...toilet rolls, face wipes and alcoholic handwash.
ReplyDeleteHope you have fun :)
Antiseptic hand wash - Superdrug does it for about 89p
ReplyDeleteGlitter - best stuck on when using hairspray and face gems. Baby wipes, dry shampoo, a hoody (etc) to sleep in, water (so overpriced), little satchel, LOADS of socks, little rain mac, bobby pins and some food. Have fun :)
Eye mask, for those mornings when its just too bright and ear plugs for when the tents around you just wont shut up at ridiculous o'clock, anti-bac gel, make up wipes, bin bags!
ReplyDeleteahhh I'm so jealous! Bestival is so much fuuun. The obvious: baby wipes, dry shampoo, hand sanitizer(s), toilet roll, thick socks. My couldn't live withouts: crisps, cheese biscuits, hair wax, jazzy leggings, woolly hat, face paint, dr martins/wellies...(weather dependent), barbour, gloves aaand loads of disposy cameras!
ReplyDeletehope you have a wonderful time! x
my brother is off to bestival and i am so effing jealous, i need to go! I'm making it my priority to go next year.
ReplyDeleteEssential would be dry shampoo everytime..And face wipes!
oh and wellies hahah
xx
Wellies are an essential, but so are a pair of old trainers for just hanging around outside the tent. I hate hate hate having to put my wellies on first thing in the morning, they just feel so heavy! Old trainers for breakfast and toothbrushing, all the way. Speaking of breakfast, those Varieties kiddy packs of cereal. Pour milk straight into the bag, instant cereal! Breakfast bars just aren't the same.
ReplyDeleteWeird tip I have that totally works but makes your friends think you're weird: if it's a cold night, get one of those hand warmers that heat up themselves and a foil blanket. Line your sleeping bag with the foil blanket, then put another blanket in (so that you're not actually touching the scratchy foil). Then get the hand warmer going and put it at the bottom of the sleeping bag, touching the foil. The foil conducts the heat around the sleeping bag and it's basically like sleeping in an oven. It's AMAZING.
Also: dry shampoo, face wipes, tissues (doubles up as toilet roll), torch. Don't take valuables, someone once broke into my tent while I was sleeping and took my super snazzy phone. :(
Babywipes! Without fail. You use them to wash, for the toilet, to help get your muddy wellies off, take your makeup off... I'd have been lost at Glasto without them!
ReplyDeleteHave an amazing time at Bestival! xx
dry shampooo!! a rain poncho, dried fruit and nuts and a small torch for midnight loo visits xx
ReplyDeleteahh is this a picture of the chase and status set at bm last year? i went there; was pretty crazy! definitely sunglasses, treseme dry shampoo and moisturiser :)
ReplyDeleteas everyone's already mentioned, baby wipes and make up wipes are pretty essential. but please for the love of god, do not leave your tent unzipped if it rains. it'll definitely be flooded for the rest of the festival!
ReplyDeletehave a good time lovely

Aw have a lovely time at Bestival sweetie, a few of my best friends from Uni are going, or working at it (: I've never been to a festival so I can't even begin to suggest items haha! xx
ReplyDeleteHave a great time! So jealous :) x
ReplyDeleteDuct tape all the way. I went camping in Cornwall a couple of a weeks ago, it poured and our tent leaked - it was a lifesaver. Somewhere to hide money/spare purse to keep emergency cash in (got everything stolen at Glasto - nightmare). Wheelbarrow/something with wheels if you're carting a load of booze down to camp, but a kinda rubbishy one so you can ditch it if you cant be bothered to push it back. :)
ReplyDeleteSpray on Savlon stuff, saved my life on a few occasions I can tell you. Cereal bars are a quick cheap filling food fix (and they can be kept in wellies etc so they can be taken into the arena). I wish I had taken a cheap fleece blanket to sit on at the last festival I went to!

ReplyDeleteFUN! My essentials are a camera, sunglasses, water, comfy shoes and sunblock :) Have a blast!
ReplyDeleteDisposable cameras, shorts, t-shirts, boots, a big sweater to keep me warm at night, small backpack, that's it, I suppose ^^
ReplyDeleteanti-bacterial hand-wash, your own roll of toilet paper, plastic bags and black bin bags (very useful, not just for rubbish, you can sit on them if its wet! hehe) :) have a great time.
ReplyDeletegive me baby wipes + cereal bars and I can survive anything at a festival!
ReplyDeleteI've never actually been to a festival and I feel I need to but I'm sort of scared of dirt and other people's mess : /
ReplyDeleteThat being said if I went I'd take baby wipes, fabreez, and some sort of hand sanitiser - ha I'm such a loser, alcohol was an afterthought
xx
I have this thing called a pasta maker which I always bring. It's magical; it cooks all your pasta without needing electricity...only problem is I always end up having so much fun I never use it :/
ReplyDeleteBring your gumboots! <3
