Hello, remember me? Sorry I've been barely here over the past week or so. If you follow me on Twitter, or like me on Facebook, you'll know that after Bestival I came down with tonsillitis. The second time in the past few months! I'm going to look into having them taken out because I get it a few times every year, and it really knocks me for six!
I went to my mum's on Friday and stayed the night, because I felt like I needed looking after. Her homecooked chicken casserole and cuddles from the cats must've fixed me a bit, because I started feeling better the next day. I even bothered to straighten my hair (it's been in a ponytail since Bestival - too much effort when you're sick) and it went all fluffy! So I took this photo :) it felt so nice.
I also baked loads of chocolate cakes for my Grandmother's birthday today. We went out with all of my Dad's side of the family for Sunday lunch and the little bit of weight I lost with my fever has probably all been put back on again! I had roast pork, and then a giant piece of cheesecake for pud!
I'm still recovering from tonsillitis, so I'm exhausted now! Looking forward to a night of chilling with Kayley, painting my nails and watching X Factor and He's Just Not That Into You.
A couple of exciting things happening this week, including going to London on Thursday! It's been sooooo long. If any of you lovely lot are around and want to meet up on Friday, let me know! I'm hoping to go to some galleries and the V&A but we'll see! I'll be back to blogging properly this week too :)

ReplyDeleteHaving your tonsils out is definitely worth it. I had mine taken out when I was very young and I don't remember it being painful or anything. The day after your voice is really high and the only treatment for it is ice cream!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!! I've never had tonsilitis, but I know how bad it can be. Hope it gets better soon.

Your hair looks awesome! I have a huge obsession with big hair but that may come as no surprise to you (coming from a big haired lady!). Hope you properly recover soon, I know what tonsillitis is like as I had it far too much as a kid x

ReplyDeleteCheesecake has to be my favourite dessert of all time, hah! Hope you get better soon - it probably is a good idea to get your tonsils removed if they keep flaming up!
