Two outfit posts in a row, eh! Bet you didn't see that coming. I think the brighter days are encouraging me to wear more colour, and it makes me excited to show you what I'm wearing!
I actually feel really poorly today - hence that vacant expression in the first photo. My stress levels have gone down a bit and been replaced by a horrible cold! Will I ever feel 100% ?! Anyway, this outfit definitely made me feel a bit cheerier.
I am so obsessed with YELLOW! It's one of the happiest colours ever, and I feel super lucky that this golden shade suits me. I actually misplaced this jumper for a few months and was devastated as it's my favourite - but one of my bffs found it behind her sofa! It somehow ended up there on New Year's Eve!
Let's also just focus on these shoes for a minute or two. They weren't actually my first choice when I popped into the Clarks shop in town, and they remind me of some kind of sea creatures, but damn! When I put them on I fell in love! The assistant manager (I think her name was Jade... hi Jade!) had little feet like me and told me she often had to order in the smaller sizes, but they had these in stock and suggested I tried them. She was right!
Firstly, they are SO comfortable - it's like these shoes were made especially for me. And secondly, the nude colour will go with basically anything. I've been consciously trying to steer myself away from black shoes lately, so these will be my go-to smart shoe from now on.

These are gorgeous shoes, and you're so lucky you can pull of yellow, it's a tricky colour! x
ReplyDeleteClarks shoes are always super comfortable, my favourite ballet flats are theirs and even after more than 5 years (time flies by, oh my) they're still like new and too comfy :)
ReplyDeleteLove your look, yellow really is a happy colour :)

Loving that mustard jumper; looks gorgeous on you x
ReplyDeleteYou are rocking that lip colour gurl!
ReplyDeleteI love love love this pair of trousers (if I didn't have the wrong shape for trousers they're exactly the sort of thing I wish I could wear) and I think the nude shoes are fab. Bet you'll get lots of wear from them as they'll go with just about anything.
ReplyDeleteI love your patterned trousers so much! The yellow sweater is so perfect with them. I actually really like your new shoes too. Nude is a great option for spring! I tend to buy too many black shoes too so I have to force myself to steer toward other shades for variety!
