bristol fashion week ss15.

Wednesday saw my favourite local bloggers and I getting dolled up and heading up to Cribbs Causeway for the Bristol Fashion Week VIP show, where we got to witness the SS15 trends live on the catwalk.

It's been a little while since I've been to Bristol Fashion Week - life, being poorly, and other events have got in the way for the last few - but I was glad to be back. I've always found LFW to be too intimidating, but BFW is more like trends for normal humans (like me and you!) Plus, all the clothes featured in the show can be found in stores now. In fact, the skirt and hat I bought at the bloggers' style challenge were actually featured... coincidence, or trend-setter?

My favourite trends featured in the show were 70s, monochrome, florals, and pastels. The show also had an overall theme of travel, so all the backdrops, songs etc were related to that, which was a fun little touch. One of the best things about BFW is the amount of energy in the shows - the models don't simply walk down the catwalk, they DANCE!

What's your favourite trend for Spring & Summer?

  4. Great pictures, I love how they have a different background theme for each section. For me it's all about monochrome for spring, summer, autumn and winter!! x

  5. Hi Lyzi!

I used to follow your blog but it was a long time ago! Then I stopped blogging myself and I forgot about the blogging world for a while. Now I am back and I checked out all the blogs that I followed, including yours. Wow, you have changed! Your blog looks completely different (love the layout) and oh, I am definitely going to follow you again!

    Hugs,
