christmas wishlist!

What do you do when you're bed-ridden with a bug? Obviously trawl the internet for lovely things that you might like Father Christmas to pop under your Christmas tree, of course!

STUFF:

• pocket mirror - this little mirror is by the awesome Nicola Rowlands, and I love the colours, the type, and the message it conveys!

• cat candle - I remember seeing this candle aaaages ago and wanting it. It's a little pricey, but that's because it melts to reveal a little cat skeleton inside! 

• tote bag - a nice, big tote with an emo slogan. I would be happy with anything from Stay Home Club.

• socks/slippers - these knitted socks look so cosy, but I'd be happy with any kind of slippers! My toes are getting a litte chilly..

• moon phases calendar - ummm, do I even need to explain this one?

• washi tape - I always need more. It's so useful, and so pretty!

A couple of other things I'd like are pretty things to make my desk more attractive, prints to hang on the walls, and a sofa...

BOOKS:

• can't and won't - I picked this book up off the shelves in Waterstones recently, read a few pages and loved it. I'd not heard of Lydia Davis before, but I think she might be someone awesome.

• rifle paper co notebooks - the prettiest notebooks probably ever. One can never have too many.

• animalium - a collection of beautiful illustrations of animals. Pretty excited by this one.

• and the story is happening - I have one of Sabrina Ward Harrison's other books, and I absolutely love it. The textures, the words... it's so perfectly imperfect. I have only seen this one in the window of a paper shop in Totnes, but I know I'll love whatever is inside.

• love at first stitch - I have a sewing machine, I know how to sew, but I'd like to get better and make more things. I'm pretty sure this book would help me a lot!

• one line a day - a diary that lasts five years. It's pretty self-explanatory - you simply write one line for each day or the year!
