It was so lovely to spend Mother's Day with my beautiful mum - picnicking on the beach, watching a young family fly kites, collecting pear shaped stones that now live in my pockets, seeing the damage left over from the storms, looking at all the blooming flowers in my Granny's village, reading in the sunny garden, looking at old pictures of my mum, and taking care of poorly Granny.
Getting to see my mum, Granny, aunt and two cousins all in one day made it a perfect Sunday. I think Mother's Day is about more than just your mum - it's about all the amazing ladies in your family that have influenced your life.
Hope all of your days were as lovely as mine ♥

Looks like a wonderful day :) I was on holiday this mothers day, but left gifts with my sister to give Mum whilst I was away. I was so consumed with going on holiday, I'm relieved I actually remembered!
