It's bordering on disgusting how corny Valentine's I've gone this year. I'm going to share our handmade cards & our date in a couple of days, but today I thought I'd show you my Valentine's Day outfit! 

I was thinking of wearing my new Joules dress, but when I slipped on this Fashion Union skirt to see if it fitted nicely, I didn't want to take it off! I'm so in love with the houndstooth patten & the thickness of it.

I popped on my favourite red striped top and red jumper, grabbed my fabric rose and felt SO girly and awesome. Teamed with pale pink pumps and my new coat to brave the outdoors, and I'll be picking up some nude tights on the way to our date..! Also, why do I not already own any nude tights?!

This is the perfect injection of colour that my wardrobe has needed lately!

NB: I have now changed into jeans (3pm) because it's too windy, rainy and cold. I hate the weather. And I hate myself a bit too for not having Valentine's-appropriate trousers.
