Just a few of the things I made and got for Elliott's birthday yesterday. I got him a bunch of other stuff too, all wrapped in different papers, and put it all in a boring brown box. Boring on the outside, FUCKING EXCITING on the inside.
The wrapping paper below is from Urban Outfitters, and inside was a book of post-it monsters that he loves. I got it months ago and have been really strong, and not given in to my urge to give it to him straight away! I also made gingerbread frogs (which spread in the oven quite a lot, and ended up looking like run-over toads) and some kind of jellyfish creature, that his flatmate has called Tennyson. I also got a fun comic, a mug and a bottle opener, and made a card with an octopus stealing a birthday cake drawn on the front!
Yesterday evening, all his family came up and we all went out for dinner. It was so nice to see everyone again! And to meet his Grandma! Lovely lovely day.

Aw this is really sweet, your presents are always so thoughtful. Haha the toads look funny when they're cooked!
