I want to start of by saying I LOVE the theme and look of this month's GlossyBox - the natural box. The box is 100% biodegradable, but I'll be keeping it, as I find the boxes so useful for storing little bits and bobs! All the products inside are organic and/or ethical.
Here are the products I received....
Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum
I've used this a few times since I got it, and haven't seen a great difference in my skin. My skin is generally a bit crap at the moment though, so it could be that, or it might just need a little longer to really take effect. On the plus side, it hasn't made my skin any worse!
Inika Cosmetics Certified Organic Eye Liner in 11 Sapphire
I LOVE the colour of this! It's pretty much one of my favourite colours. A slightly greeny, deep blue. I wore it all day yesterday and it didn't budge, and it stayed nice and bright. Love it. I'll be using this a lot over the summer I think!
Monu Enriched Body Cream
This smells SO GOOD! It has a fresh, lemony fragrance that I am always attracted to. It's a really thick cream, and a little goes a long way. It feels so luxurious on my skin.
Figs & Rouge Lip Balm
FAVOURITE product in the box. I love the packaging so much, and the smell is amazing! The peppermint and teatree makes it so fresh! I've been using it on my lips and my dry elbows and it works a treat and makes me feel all fresh and zingy! I also put it on a slight burn on my arm, and it made it feel all cool and nice.
Phillip B Drop Dead Straightening Balm
My hair is very thick and unruly, and I found this did nothing to straighten or eradicate friss, although it claims to do so! I think I'll be sticking to Moroccan Oil and John Frieda Full Repair!
Overall I have liked this month's box. I'm a sucker for packaging, so I had fallen for it as soon as I opened the box, although some of the products inside were a bit of a let down. The eyeliner, body cream and balm were bloody great though :)
After seeing this box it's made me want to re-subscribe to glossy box again! Lol

It's really nice to see natural and ethical brands getting some coverage. I think it's so important to know what's going on your skin and where it's come from. Love the look of the Figs & Rouge Lip Balm...I hope it's not too pricey, natural products always tend to be that bit more testing on the ol' purse strings!

I love the theme and packaging!
ReplyDeleteI have a Figs and Rouge balm from the feelunique box a while back, and I love it! Whilst the scent took a bit of getting used to (I have "sweet geranium") the packaging is absolutely gorgeous and the texture of the balm is great [: I'd definitely rebuy! xxx
