I feel like I've been too busy for anything recently, sorry about that. The past two days have been full of some of my favourite humans. My funny, talented and kind friend James came to visit Bristol as he's hopefully moving back - yay! We walked 6 miles on the first day, up to the suspension bridge (which weirdly I've never ever done!) and through Clifton, stopping to look in an antique shop and have lunch.
The next day was a contrast to the bright blue skies, with thick mist everywhere. We popped into town for a look around the shops and a sandwich. I bought this perfect scarf from the men's section in H&M! I love it.
The evenings have been filled with watching movies with my housemates, attempting early nights, and talking to someone who has the exact same brain as me. Have you ever come across someone who seems to be so similar to you that it's terrifying and brilliant?
I have lots more to share with you, but time seems to be disappearing lately. I will do my best. Meanwhile, have you entered my Cornishware giveaway?

I lived in Bristol for a year from 2003-04 and one of my happiest memories is the day my husband and I walked to the suspension bridge. It was one of those perfect spring days and such a gorgeous walk. I love your pictures of Bristol they remind me of a year well spent x

Gorgeous photos Lyzi! That h&m scarf looks perfect :) xx
ReplyDeletereally lovely photos Lyzi. there is something about england that when it is foggy or rainy things just seem to get more romantic. that is how i felt anyway when i lived in bath for a semester for school. other places the rain just feels a bit depressing. it sounds like you had a lovely time with your friends as well. although i first read that line about James as fuzzy, talented, kind and had to re-read that. i do hope you bought that cat tin, because it is just absolutely amazing.
