Blogging has its perks, and receiving free samples of pancakes is definitely one of them. Yesterday I was lucky enough to try these Abra-ca-Debora dutch pancakes, and share them with my housemates (12 pancakes in one belly is too many.)
I love the super cute packaging, which is covered in recipe ideas in case you want to branch out from lemon and sugar! I've included some of the recipe cards below to get you thinking outside the box! I had two with mozzarella, pesto, avocado and tomato and they were AMAZING. I'd somehow never had a savoury pancake before yesterday, and I am most definitely a convert.
You can heat them in the microwave (although I tried that and I don't recommend it - makes them a bit soggy), in the oven (which makes the edges crispy and is perfect for melting cheese!) or in a non-stick frying pan. I had a sweet pancake with the classic lemon and brown sugar for dessert. The sweet ones have a hint of vanilla about them, which is so yum!
You lucky little things have the chance to win an entire hamper of pancake goodies in time for Shrove Tuesday on the 12th of February! Scroll down to see how to enter!
