I tried to do one of these a couple of weeks ago, but failed miserably... yesterday I actually remembered! I didn't even need to set an alarm! Anyway, here's what a Tuesday in my life sometimes looks like..
9am: once my legs have woken up I go downstairs and do my morning ritual - a big cup of tea in my Cath Kidston mug. Recently I've discovered how yummy soya milk is, so now I have that in my tea along with half a sugar as it's quite sweet!
10am: after checking my emails and bopping around on the internet for a while, I make myself look presentable. Just a simple outfit for running errands, and the same make up I wear pretty much every day.
11am: going through my weekly/daily to do lists. I'm a bit anxious this week and it makes me go list crazy. I love being able to cross things off my list though, and see the progress I'm making. It makes me feel sliiiightly more calm.
12pm: a rather wet and windy walk into Bristol city centre. Urgh.
1pm: popping into a fabric shop to buy some forest green and wine coloured fabrics for an upcoming collaboration. Then to Starbucks for a giant tea, a sandwich and to call Doug so that we didn't have lonesome lunchtimes.
2pm: a meeting with my mentor. Going through my CV and what I need to do next. And drinking more tea, obviously.
3pm: a damp walk home made slightly more enjoyable by a cute window cat with very round eyes.
4pm: after a little lie down and a snack, I read for a while. At the moment I'm reading Women by Bukowski. I usually read with a pencil so that I can underline my favourite bits and make little notes.
5pm: trying out the inks that my mum got me for Christmas - finally. The packaging is so fun! I've never used a dipping pen, so that was fun too. It's taking me a while to get used to them, but after doodling for ages I think I'm going to really love them.
6pm: wrapping up warm and going back outside because I forgot to buy milk on my way home!
7pm: DINNER! A really colourful dinner of yellow peppers stuffed with sweet potato and chicken, cherry tomatoes, green beans and spinach. And yeah, I really like black pepper.
8 & 9pm: spending the rest of the evening in bed - sooo sleepy! Wasting some time on facebook, writing in my diary and drinking hot chocolate.
10pm(ish): snuggling into bed to watch the newest episode of Girls, and trying to sleep! The rain and my brain kept me up until about 1am though, boo!
What a lovely day :)
ReplyDeleteI might have to give this a go soon,
