This is going to be a majorly photo-heavy blog post, as it's snapshots of everything I've done in the past week... and a lot of photos of cats. I just wanted to share with you what I've been doing in the run-up to leaving Devon, and moving to Bristol!
SUNDAY.
Hadn't been sleeping well due to stress/excitement so tried to use some calming bubble bath...
Used too much which made the bath too exciting. And there was another spider in my bed!
MONDAY.
Chopped my fringe!
Sat in the most overcast, bleak cafe ever. Waiting for my train to Exeter.
Writing while I wait for Kris.
Chilli squid at Wagamama! Sooooooo so yummy!
My favourite Wagamama meal - chilli squid, ginger chicken udon, and a green tea!
Stopped for a couple of beers in Bill's! It's been done really well, loved the decor.
Tiniest salt and peppers! Kris tried to make me steal them. Bad influence.
TUESDAY.
First run. Autumn colours.
Silvery scenery. I'm going to miss this place.
WEDNESDAY.
New Primark sockies and DMs to keep my feet dry in the horrible weather!
Cinema with Beth, for her birthday and my goodbyes! We saw The Campaign. It was pretty funny.
THURSDAY.
Second run. Stunning day, Devon is too pretty.
Not going to be my street for much longer...!
How much is that kitty in the window?
Windy daaaaaaaay! Dressing androgenous. New Look sunglasses.
Camel coat - EWM, shirt - Uniqlo, leggings - Topshop, desert boots - Clarks.
Packing & sorting means I finally found my iPod! No more boring bus journeys!
Beautiful Devonshire valley.
Looking over Torbay.
Watching Jeremy Kyle with my silly cat-nephews.
D'aaaawwww.
I bought my brother ribs and beer to say thank you for helping me. He kindly let me share with him.
Clearly they were absolutely delicious! Clever bruv. Lad.
My little niece, Evelyn, feeding herself a yoghurt! So cuuuute!
FRIDAY.
New coat courtesy of Boohoo keeping me nice and dry!
Farewell meal with my girls! <3
I do love a steak from Cotton Eye Joe's!
Then I hung out with my cats for a while and took a few photos...
Mine and Geoff's desert boots. Love the difference in size!
Wine with mum and Geoff.
SATURDAY.
The clouds moving in different directions while I sort my last things out.
My lovely coat again! Really love it!
Pretty much all my stuff packed.. well, the essentials.
Fizzzzzzzy wine on my last night!
Mum and Geoff making me some yummy food.
The last supper! Goat tagine, cous cous and salad.
Best fruit ever.
These are not just profiteroles... these are M&S profiteroles.
Mum got me a cat teapot as a leaving present!
I love the eyebrows. Such a sweet little face.
Bubbles in my wine and bubbles in my bath. A pretty perfect end to my last week here.
So that's it - I'm leaving Devon as you read this, and trotting off to Bristol! It's really happening, I'm actually going! My last week has been so utterly lovely, it almost makes me not want to leave, but I know I can't stay here anymore.
To new beginnings! Cheers!
The cat knee tuck, as demonstrated in Friday's pics, is my favourite of all cat resting positions. LIKE THEY HAVE NO LEGS. D'awwwww.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move! Looks like a lovely last week - love Wagamama. x
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've had a lovely last week!! BEst of luck with the move - I think Bristol is one of the best places to live in the South West!! I'm from south Somerset and although it's beautiful it does get a bit quiet and there aren't many opportunities there - so I'm glad I've made the move to a city!
