soft military.

I put this outfit on yesterday and realised I was wearing all black (including my nails... goth) so chucked on this massive cardigan I got from a charity shop the other day. It wasn't until I looked in the mirror that I noticed I looked a bit "on-trend", a bit military.. my take on it anyway, I s'pose.

I don't often wear all black, as I'm a big fan of colour, but sometimes it's just so easy to wear and can look so smart, without even having to try. This is probably my favourite dress right now, as it's so versatile. It really is one of those dresses that can go from day to night, and I'm wearing it again today to go and see my lovely Bee!

I took my desert booties out on their first outing yesterday, I got on the bus and sat on the top deck. It was a beautiful day, and I wanted to see my home in all its glory! And just look at it! I will miss this scenery when I move back to Bristol, but it will still be here waiting for me when I want to come back.

I went over to see my good friend Savo, who I hadn't seen in bloomin' ages because he's always so busy! We had a good few hours though, and it was so good to have a proper catch up. He's one of those friends who leaves you feeling really positive and energised, and like you can do anything! One to hold on to I think.

In the evening, I met up with Beth and we went to see Lawless. It was AWESOME, go and see it. That combined with watching 3 seasons of Dexter in the past few days (I've been a bit under the weather, so haven't been up to much) is making me think I might end up killing someone soon.. too much violence in my eyes.

Just wanted to include this last photo of me feeling glamorous on the bus.. first day this season of wearing a coat - I wore my checked, faux fur collar coat I picked up in Asda a few years ago. It's such a great coat and the collar makes it feel way more luxurious and expensive than it actually is! And my sunglasses that rarely come off my face..

The cardigan isn't in best colour but I LOVE IT! Especially its cut and slight oversized feel. The colour goes well with black I reckon!

Loving your new hair, it flatters your complexion more. Like how your fringe is darker than the rest of hair

You is cool
