I don't know about you, but when colder weather rolls around I start thinking about what to wear to all those posh Christmas parties I don't actually get invited to.. if I moved in such circles, or had a few more pennies in my purse, I would most definitely buy a beautiful dress from Ted Baker!

1. Mecia sequin print dress - I was instantly attracted to this unusual print. It reminds me of galaxy print, but softer and easier to wear. The muted colours are so gorgeous, and the shape is really flattering. Ted Baker do loads of other interesting prints too!

2. Maree embellished dress - This looks very 1920s inspired, with the way it just hangs and the detailing at the bottom. It makes me wish I was less curvy, as I'm not sure I could pull off this style! This is just a dream wishlist though, so I can dream..

3. Honor striped dress - The perfect seaside tea party dress. The sweet details like the yellow belt and little button on the sleeve give this a little extra something. I would definitely pair this with a beehive and vintage headscarf!

4. Luigia beaded detail dress - I LOVE the pattern and colour of the bead detail! It's so unusual, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. I think this would probably be more of a summery dress, but I couldn't not include it!

They have some amazing occasion dresses, I think there's probably one to suit every taste. Everything from plain shift dresses, to incredible lace dresses. These four are my favourites, and I love how different they all are! Here are some detail shots..
