I was recently asked if I'd like to review an item from Lovestruck. I'd not heard of them before, but as soon as I started looking through their lovely products, this Daria dress caught my eye. I'm always attracted to teal, and the back of this dress has such a sweet detail that I absolutely could not resist.

When it arrived, it was a little darker than I was expecting - a richer, jewel tone. I'm glad of this though, because it means it'll work well with tights when it gets a bit colder. I think it could easily be dressed down with some boots and sloppy cardigan (I keep mentioning cardigans right now but I'm excited about layering)

I wore it with my favourite necklace - lapis lazuli pendant from Afghanistan - and my deep burgundy/purple platforms from Office, and now I feel like I should probably be going on a date somewhere fancy, rather than just sit around in my room with Kimi like I'm actually doing..

I heard a lot of rustling while taking these photos, and a tinkling of a little bell. I instantly knew it was my little Kimi cat! She's so funny, I let her in the back door and into my bedroom and she went mad tearing around everywhere, because she's not usually allowed in there! I love her so much!
