I'm guilty of it, and so is much of the world, it seems... on a rainy, grey day, everyone is dressed in their dark coloured coats and boots. Well, you know what guys. I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF IT.
This autumn and winter, I'm doing my best to live a more colourful life. This includes not letting myself get stuck in the rut of wearing black and dark colours all throughout the cold months.
Luckily, I was sent this gorgeous yellow rain mac from Petit Bateau to help me with my quest. I've wanted a yellow coat for so long! I've worn it on a few rainy days lately, and it definitely makes me feel better about the awful weather!
This is more of a warm rainy day outfit, but it looks amazing with various patterned trousers that I've got. I'm looking forward to wearing coloured tights and boots with it when it gets colder, too!

You are so edible.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I really want that coat.
You look cute as a button Lyzi! That coat is incredible and I love that skirt. I've finally become a colour wearer after moving to warmer climes, but yes, totally agree about continuing to wear colour through the more miserable months (: hope you're well my love! x
ReplyDeleteThat coat is so cute! I never have a good quality raincoat, usually I just don a dark jacket and my dark umbrella. But I like the idea of rainy day style. You're right, why should be dress dark on these dreary days; we should cheer ourselves up with some color!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie Lyzi! That coat is just fab x

Yellows and oranges work perfectly in the rain. I think it's that old sea dog connection? Looks wicked.
