This is the first in a few posts I'm going to do explaining the tools I use to blog. First up is how I capture and edit my photos!
I used to use my phone camera for most of my photos, and an old Olympus compact camera for outfit photos. However, they were both pretty rubbish, so recently I invested in a good quality compact (Canon PowerShot SX260 HS) I was considering a bridge camera, but this does everything I need it to do and more.
It fits in my bag and my tiny hands, and produces amazing quality photos. It has a 32GB memory card inside. I also use a tripod for taking outfit photos, but I need to replace that as it's my mum's one that she's had for god-knows how long.

Once I've loaded my photos onto my MacBook Pro, I edit them on Photoshop. I used to change all the levels manually, but over the past few months I've been using preset curves, mostly downloaded for free from Julia Trotti's blog. There are loads to choose from!
After this I often use my Wacom Graphics Tablet to write or draw onto the photos. This is the thing I get asked about most when it comes to my pictures! I have a pretty big one, but you can get teeny ones too if you don't have much space!
Finally, I upload my photos to Flickr, meaning the quality is not lost. What's even better is it's free!
What tools do you use to get your images blog-ready?
