eat happy.

The week before last, after eating quite a lot of rubbish at Elliott's, I decided to get stuck into my new cookbook, Ottolenghi (thanks Mum!) It's full of beautiful, healthy food, and I couldn't resist photographing what I was eating. As usual, I edited the recipes slightly to suit my tastes/what ingredients I had.

It's so easy to get stuck in a food-rut of eating the same things, or eating rubbish when you feel a bit blue. But I think eating well, and having such colourful plates of food in front of you can really make you feel better! I've fallen back into the bad-eating the past week, but I'm definitely going to bring it back!

The treats at the end aren't from this book, but I had to include them! The birthday cake I made for my sister-in-law (with lots of fruit to cancel out the chocolate..) and my pudding of choice at the moment - fruit and yoghurt!

  7. Wow this all looks amazing! It is so uplifting just looking at this kind of plate of food. I really need to try out some Ottolenghi recipes. He also writes for the Guardian quite a bit so maybe I give that a go first.
