Dress - Topshop (old stock)...please excuse the ladder in my tights!

Hello! Today I felt a lot better and went to Totnes in the hope of finding some cute things for my birthday and a few extra bits and bobs. Turns out there were a few places with things I'd really rather like, but I wasn't willing to spend that much money. So instead I came back to Torquay and just went to Wilkinsons, haha! I got all these fun things. I'm going to fill the big jug with homemade raspberry and lemonade which I'm going to make on Saturday!

Just a quick post as I'm busy baking and other nice things. I have two questions for you though:

a) where can I get those straws with those things you open out and they're like fruit and stuff? I don't know what they're called, but someone must know what I mean...

b) I saw a girl with a lush tshirt today - it had a drawing of a girl then a scroll thing saying "best of all" - anyone know where it's from?

Just another reminder about my birthday giveaway which is running all this week!

Tonight I'm going to pamper myself a bit I think... :)

    i know exactly what you mean, not sure where you can get them BUT in pound shops you can sometimes get cocktail sets, i bought one which had straws, umbrellas and fruit shaped ice cubes!!! hope that helps xx

    this and the last outfit shot have to be my favourite ever of you! you look so gorgeous, must have a birthday week glow :) homemade raspberry and lemonade sounds so yummy. you can get cocktail sets in poundland and stuff! but if not they have them in debenhams too (but for more than £1, obvs) x

    Your dress looks so cute! I think supermarkets sell those fruit paper things, maybs try morrisons they're pretty good for party/bake wear. I don't know why stocking good baking accessories would mean they will have paper straw fruit but my mind works mysteriously

    I feel like I shouldn't admit to this, but I love Wilkinsons. So much stuff, so cheap! It's blinkin' brilliant.

    I've got a big box of those straws in my cupboard and I'm pretty sure they came from either Poundland or Home Bargains. Hope that helps! x

    Auwwww I wanna come to your party girlie! :) I think I know what you mean about the straws... you almost get them in cocktail stick versions too? where a little thing made of paper folds out. Imagine you might get it in the kinda place that does umberellas for drinks too :) haha sorry I know that's not helping much :( Hope you find what youre looking for tho! xx

    I love shopping in totnes they have great charity shops and there is a little tea room there that does the best cream tea and above it is a hairdressers and when you go up to the toilets you see all of the 80's style hairdressing posters that they have on the walls. so funny

    I love that dress! you are so cute!

    I have been following your blog for a while now, but not sure I have ever commented? I just wanted to let you know how inspiring I find you. You are so talented and creative, and I love the fact you have your own little business venture going on. Im just leaving uni and trying to do that myself, and am competely terrified!

    Also, I watched that video you posted about ME (and downloaded the song!) and have to say I didn't know much about the condition, but can in some ways relate. I was born with arthritis and some days its easy to control and ignore, other days I struggle to get out of bed, the pains so bad. I look fine, and young, so people rarely believe me when I tell them, and my doctor and uni was rude and dismissive when I went in for help, because I am too young to have it! So I can definitely sympathise.

    Sorry for the essay, I just wanted to let you know how inspiring I find you, and how much I love your blog :)
