Sometimes you just need a day to yourself to play on the secret beach and hide in the cool, soft leaves; to be quiet and alone with your thoughts. To walk through the sweet-smelling air, and continue down, down, further down still, until you're back where you belong. Nothing but the almost-white-noise of the waves to soothe the harsh voice of reflection. Just me and the sea.

ReplyDeleteI love spending a day by myself. Sadly I don't live by the sea, but I regularly go for a wander in London and actually love being in the centre of the city by myself, noticing all the things I'd usually miss if I'm chatting away to somebody else.
