vintage style me smock.

It feels a bit funny posting this outfit today, the first day that we've had our heating on.. when less than a week ago, I was prancing around in this summery smock & no tights!

The lovely Rhiannon from Vintage Style Me surprised me with this gorgeous handmade smock just in time for the last warm weekend we'll have this year. I made the most of it by wearing it all weekend - and got complimented on it within 10 minutes of being out of my house!

I'd not tried a smock before, thinking they'd make me look huge, and I have to admit it took me a little while of staring into the mirror before I got used to wearing something that is less fitted than I'm used to... but I'm totally sold. They're so versatile! I ate a huge burger when Doug and I went out for lunch on the Saturday (and no one could even tell) sat around in the garden, and wore it while feeling a little fragile on the Sunday.

So comfy and fuss-free! I need more smocks in my life! There are loads to choose from, plus some with sleeves to keep your little arms warm in this colder weather. You can see them here :)

Thank you to Doug for taking these photos for me! You should've seen the outtakes..
