where the water tastes like wine.

MONDAY.

My dad called me and told me that his lovely lady, Judith, had suggested going up the river for a picnic. Obviously, I was totally up for that. We hopped into the dinghy next to a family of ducks, and pootled up the river, passing cute boat houses and other people enjoying a warm evening on the water.

We reached a little beach area and set up camp. Dad and Judith tied the boat up, while Jazz went for a dip. The picnic was lovely, topped off with some wine and strawberries as the sun started to dip behind the trees.

It was time to make our way back down the river. It was so smooth and flat that it looked like illuminated glass as the sun set.
