This is a week of big changes in my life, and things are going to have to get a little worse before they start getting better. These changes make me feel a bit scared and sad, but they are to make me happier in the long run.
On Sunday, I'm moving out of the flat I've shared with my lovely Kayley for about a year and a half. She's staying in Torquay, and I'm moving back in with my mum for about a month, while I find somewhere to live in Bristol with my good friend James.
Some of you know, I went to uni in Bristol, but had to leave because I was unwell. I always felt at home there, and I love how there is always something going on. Bristol has such a fun, friendly vibe, and I can't wait to be somewhere with a litle more culture!

Another big change that is occuring this week, is mine and Elliott's relationship coming to an end. We've had a few discussions recently, and although it hurts like hell and feels really weird, it's for the best, and we're remaining friends. I'm not discussing the details on my blog, the people that need to know already know.

This is quite a grown-up outfit for me, as I usually like to dress quite cutesy, and a little bit scruffy. I feel like I've been dressing like an adult a bit more recently, maybe it's to do with my change of attitude.
A few of my favourite items of clothing at the moment. I love the muted tones, they're so easy to wear.
Oh Lyzi! Firstly, can I say that your outfit looks tremendous - I love the trousers and the suitcase.

The right decisions aren't always the easiest or nicest to make but you know they're right because they'll eventually lead you to happier pastures :) enjoy your month with your mum! & Bristol will be brilliant! I visited once and loved it, would love to live there!

I am about two months down the line from where you are now in life, but things must get better soon. ReplyDeleteI am also super sorry to hear about your relationship, I do however think it's best to end it while you're still friends and there will always be something you can hang on to & know that there is some where that to still share moments with when you need it. I'm still very good friends with my "first love" (ick! Sounds so silly, pass the sick bucket) but I still feel such a lovely feeling for him & the time we had together.
