happy sunshine health boost juice!

I was ill with a horrible cough the other week, and made lovely soothing drinks with oranges, lemons and honey. It was so much yummier than your regular old lemon & honey that your mum used to make when you had tonsilitis.

Then my sore throat went away, and the sun came out (very briefly) and I still wanted to drink this yummy drink.. so I made a chilled version and added echinacea to keep any more colds at bay!

It's really easy, you just need a big jar/bottle/something to put it in, and mix all the ingredients to your taste. Chill it for a bit, and then drink it down! YUM!

I may have to try this because I currently sneeze what feels like a billion times a day and it makes me feel dreadful. I've had the classic honey and lemon in the past but I'm not a big honey fan so maybe this will be a little nicer (: xx

Suffering from a cold at the moment and I've been advised to try echinacea. Is it as good as people say?

Echinacea is my family's secret to getting over a cold - I double dose if I feel oncoming sniffles! Xo

Oh this is my go-to cure for colds! A steaming mug of it is such a godsend when I'm feeling under the weather.
Also a little tip for sore throats I picked up when I used to do musical theatre! Eat the honey straight off spoon but don't swallow it, just let it run right down your throat. It's not a completely permanent fix, but it does help soothe the throat a lot :)
