I woke up to glorious sunshine streaming through my window today, and decided this would be the perfect day to wear my floral trousers, as it's not particularly warm. And what is better than wearing these (probably actually pyjama) trousers?
CLASHING PATTERNS! Obviously!
I keep getting stuck in a rut of wearing plain things, neutral colours, just because it's easier. But I feel so much happier in stuff like this! Combining patterns makes my eyes happy. And clearly makes me go a bit funny, judging by these poses.
* WEARING: GREY VEST, BELT, SANDALS - PRIMARK • BRALET - RARE • TROUSERS - CHARITY SHOP *
• big ups to Bee who discovered these trousers on our charity shop hunt ages ago! •
Both my camera and my tripod are dying, so I've found a new place to take my photos, in the kitchen, using these boxes as a makeshift tripod... I basically just lean my phone up against them. So hi-tech!
After staring at this box of teabags for about half an hour while taking photos, I obviously needed a massive cup of tea. I walked past my mirror with my Cath Kidston mug and thought it looked great with all the colours and patterns... cue more photos.
The rest of the day will involve tidying this mess, and working my way through my to do list/organising my life. As you can see, I often get distracted by doodling.. but hopefully I'll find an hour or two to get outside and enjoy the sunshine too :)
