GIRLS.
Last night, Kayley and I had our favourite girls over for a festive evening of catching up. I dressed almost entirely in red and green, and spent most of the afternoon baking and cooking, and making the living room presentable. I baked the Christmassy spiced cupcakes I made last year, and they went down pretty well! We also made stuffed butternut squash for dinner, and I invented a new Christmas drink involving gin, ginger beer, oranges and spices.
It was soooo lovely to have Charli and Blondie over, and I'm excited to see them again after Christmas for Kayley's birthday. I LOVE YOU GIIIIRRLS!

That sounds like an amazing evening; Christmas cupcakes and a Christmas cocktail is my kind of night! You are clearly the hostess with the mostest!
