Over the past couple of years I've been getting into jewellery a lot more - especially the last few months. I've discovered some brands that I really love, and am enjoying finding more statement or unusual pieces which still fit with my love for simple aesthetics.
A couple of weeks back, I shot with Elinor for Lokken Watches - it was such a fun evening being in front of the camera for one of my friends. I wore all ivory to set off the black and gold of one of their gorgeous watches.
I thought this would be a good time to show off some of my other recent favourites - my earrings from local designer (literally - she lives a couple of streets away from me!) and this lovely necklace from Daisy Street, which was kindly sent to me.
They've got some gorgeous pieces, all sorts of semi precious gemstone jewellery. I chose the lapis lazuli necklace as it's one of my favourite gemstones. It reminds me of the wedding ring my aunt made for my mum, and one of my good friends brought back a lapis lazuli heart for me from Afghanistan.
It holds such a dear place in my heart, and just look at it! I can't get enough of that deep blue, and the gold sets it off beautifully, and brings out the gold flecks in the stone.
I've also been wearing rings more - one was a birthday gift, and the other one I made myself! But I'll be explaining the latter in another blog post very soon..

I'm the same, I don't really wear jewellery much but I'm actively trying to wear more. The necklace is absolutely stunning!
