This weekend was perfect for pulling me out of my rut. Unfortunately I missed out on the Bristol meet on Saturday due to being exhausted, but I got to meet up with Kim, Sophie, Steph, Megan and Chloe (who I found out lives very close to me!) in the evening as they were all in my neck of the woods!
I also got to see their lovely faces on Sunday for the Bath in Fashion Bloggers' Day! It was so lovely to feel like I was part of something special, as there were only 11 other bloggers. We met at the Bath Fashion Museum where we were greeted by tea and scones, and were told more about Bath in Fashion, which is happening in April - fingers crossed for warmth and sunshine by then.
We had a look around the Fifty Fabulous Frocks exhibition (I was particularly drawn to the 1960s styles and anything with an interesting texture) before splitting into two groups.
Our group went to The Makery - on the ground floor is an adorable shop packed with incredible fabrics and lots of sweet dishes full of buttons. I could easily spend a fortune in there! We went up the spiral staircase into the attic, where our workshop awaited. We learnt how to make pretty little corsages while sipping on yet more tea.
We then went on to The Berninet Bakery where we got to sample some mouth-watering macaroons in true blogger style! Salted caramel and vanilla were my favourite, and I'm already making plans to go back and eat more..
All of us reconvened in a nice bar, and were given lovely goodie bags including a pass to loads of museums and attractions in Bath and the surrounding area! I will definitely be back in April for Bath in Fashion, if not before!
Thanks so much to everyone who organised this lovely day!
