As you can see, I'm very scared about my tonsillectomy. I've been worrying about it for two weeks and it's finally really happening today. I can't wait for these pointless tonsils to be gone, but I'm really scared about the process and the pain! :(
Hey!! Don't be worried, it'll be so much better for you if they're causing a hassle! Think about how many times the doctors have done it before! Hope it all goes well! Make sure you treat yourself with plenty of ice-cream afterwards, haha! :) P.S. Your hair looks amazing in that picture!
Oh I just had the surgery done 2 days ago! I'm not gonna lie and say it's nothing, I'm still dying in pain haha. But it should get better with a week or so.
aaaw I had it done years ago, felt rubbish for a few days but it didn't stop me for long. You will be fine and it is a good excuse to get all your family to run around after you making you tea ;) x
I had mine out a few years ago (actually, I was about eight so quite a while ago now!) and it was pretty horrible - but I seem to remember the pain didn't last more than a few days. I'm sure it'll be fine and you'll be glad about it in the future :)
don't worry! i had mine out when i was younger, when you wake up after it it just feels like you have a standard annoying sore throat, nothing to worry about! good luck :) x
My friend had her tonsils out literally just a few weeks ago. She said the first few days were painful and she couldn't talk much but she said after that she could really feel the difference! Good luck and I hope you have a speedy recovery :) xxx
The ops for tonsillectomy's are so much better then they used to be in the past. Recovery's quick too! I really hope it goes well :) I'm sure you'll be fine x
i had it done this year and it's the best thing i ever did. :) it is painful yeah but each day it gets better and you won't look back! hope it goes okay for you, and enjoy people looking after you :) x
Thinking of you my lovely! Hope it goes well and that the recovery is quick and easy for you. It might be short term pain but it will be long term gain! Sending you well wishes and hugs from down under :)
Just use it as an excuse to eat a lot of icecream! You'll be fine x
