(My workspace in progress, complete with new shelves - thanks Dad!)
As a creative person, I always crave the perfect workspace. I think no matter how awesome your desk or studio is, you'll always be tweaking it to try and get it just right. I verge from one extreme (clean, white, tidy) to another (messy, bright, colourful) when I dream of mine.
Here are LOADS of inspirational pictures...
(Some click through to their source, and some I've had saved on my hard drive for years so I don't know where they came from, super sorry! If you know where they're from, do let me know!)

I love the idea of things being colour blocked, but it wouldnt last long in reality! The blackboard is a wicked idea though :) xx

I love the first tape and crayon picture!
ReplyDeleteArghhh always looking at people studios or storage methods. I would love a huge white room with white washed wooden floors, big desks and windows with huge bookcases built into the walls. Instead of my current situation where I pretty much make everything on my bed.
ReplyDeleteyour work space looks like such a cosy little den, i love all the bits & pieces! elle x
ReplyDeleteMy dream one day is to have a sewing room with a big rainbow of thread spools and ribbons like those! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a workspace! Sadly, living at home with my parents means I have to do any work at the dining room table, and shove everything in a box when I'm done (which results in me losing LOADS of papers). I can't wait to move out and make myself a desk haven! Yours is adorable!

I'm the same! constantly striving for the 'perfect' workspace...I'm pretty sure i use it as an excuse sometimes! haha

ReplyDeleteGreat inspirations!
ReplyDeleteSadly for me the house we live in at the moment is pretty small and I don't have any room for a desk or workspace :( It makes me sad! One day we'll be in a bigger place though and I'll make up for lost time!
This is so beautiful. This makes me want to reorder and redecorate my room, and world. Such simplicity can create such beauty...........love x

I'm always organising and reorganising my desk/workspace! It never feels quite right for very long and I'm always looking for ways to make it just so.
ReplyDeleteLove this post, very inspirational!
xx
I love this post very much. I always try to make my office look like this but it never lasts. I'll end up with paper everywhere and jewellery bits all over the place. Love all those pictures - definitely a source of inspiration for the next time i tidy up and decorate x
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely workspaces! I'm so desperately trying to make my room look exactly how I want at home, but since I've been working on my foundation show it just has descended into chaos... Now it's all over I can get a proper go at it!
ReplyDeleteThe one with the wall of envelopes is absolutely brilliant! I also love the idea of having decorative clipboards attached to the wall. Ahhhhh interior design <3 already can't wait to get into my new room at uni! I have actually had several dreams about how to decorate it...
