Today, Kayley and I decided to go to a new tea shop in Totnes. It was pretty nice, although a little modern for my liking - I prefer my tea shops dark and cosy. The tea was yummy, as was the soup, and they had some amazing looking cakes on display!

Next, we wandered up the hill to a new patisserie and treated ourselves to something delicious. They were selling handmade pastries, chocolates, bread and drinks! It all looked delicious. I love buying things from patisseries, because the boxes look like little presents, and I like presents.

There was a stall in the market selling the loveliest dresses for little girls! I really wish they made them in my size, or that I had a little person to buy them for! The details were so lovely. Look how pretty:

We stopped off at Berry Pomeroy Castle on the way home, hoping to pop in and see some ghosts, but it turned out you had to pay to get in so we gave it a miss. It looked quite ominous amongst the rain clouds.

Then we zoomed home to eat our sweet treats and have a much needed lie down! I'm exhausted!

the cakes look so yummy, and i love the dainty teacups! fabuloust post!

Oh yum! Those cakes look so delicious. And that dress is adorable, little girls have the best clothes! Ha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little day out :) those cakes look gorgeous, I totally agree with the fact they feel like a little present! My mum got me a box full of fancy cakes from a patisserie this year for my birthday, rather than a big birthday cake. That Castle does look very eerie with the clouds peering in between it! Ghosts?! Oh my, im such a scaredy cat when it comes to that kind of thing! xx
