Blenders are versatile little things, aren't they? You can make sauces, soups, smoothies, and other things which don't begin with an S too.
Here are my favourite recipes made in this Panasonic blender *
Smoothies are great, because you just chuck everything in and blend it up with very little prep. These are my two favourite combinations:
GREEN:
• 1 green apple
• 1/4 of a mango
• 1/2 a banana
• a squeeze of orange juice
• a squeeze of lime
• 1 tsp spirulina powder
RED:
• 7 strawberries
• 1/2 an apple
• 12 red grapes
• 1/2 a banana
• squeeze of orange juice
Again, these are pretty much a chuck everything in situation. My favourites are guacamole, and hummus - which I'd never actually made myself before!
HUMMUS:
• 1 can of chickpeas, drained
• juice of 1/2 a lemon
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• salt
• 4 tbsp water
GUACAMOLE:
• 2 avocados
• 1 tomato
• juice of 1 lime
• handful of coriander leaves
• 1 small red onion
• 1 red chilli, deseeded
• 2 tbsp sour cream (optional)
God, I love soup. It's so warming and hearty, always makes you feel better if you're poorly, and they're generally pretty easy to make. I usually stick to root veg soups, but I thought I'd try something a little different this time. It had a lot more ingredients than I am used to, but this Moroccan Chicken Soup was definitely worth the effort! It lasted me for days, and made me feel so much better when I was ill last week!
MY OTHER SOUP RECIPES:
I also have a couple of juices and cocktails here, and you can also use the blender to make a super smooth pancake mix!

I love making smoothies and new recipes are always welcome. And I'm going to have a go at home made hummus too as well as trying your soup recipes. They all look so delicious. Might be time to buy myself a new blender.....
