sweet sunday.

Aaaaaaaaawwwwww :)

As the riots are quietening down, I thought I'd share some photos of a happy Sunday with you. Elliott's sister Phoebe took most of these, and she said I could steal them. Thanks Phoebe!

Elliott & his family came down on Sunday, I hauled my hungover self out of bed and into their car and directed them to the village I grew up in. We met my Mum, and went across the river to my favourite cafe for lunch. Oli met us too :) then we wandered around (bumping into various aunts and uncles..) had the best ice creams, and went back to Mum's for tea and cake while it rained so hard I thought it was the end of the world.

It was SO nice having them here and showing them where I grew up and them meeting lots of my family. And the best part was that I got to keep Elliott for two whole nights.

Don't forget, it's the South West Blogger Meet Part 2 tomorrow in Bristol! If you want to come along, meet us at the main steps in Cabot at 11am! Hopefully there won't be any problems because of the riots etc!!

I live in America and we've been seeing news coverage and photos of the riots but it's so much more real to read about it on blogs like yours! Hope all is getting better over there!

  17. Hello :)

Sorry I can't make the meet up anymore :( I got work rearranged, but now I have more work, doing some wedding decoration scouting in the morning (very excited!) and the an in-laws 50th birthday do in the afternoon. So I'm busy again!
Thanks for arranging it though, it is great getting little links built.
As for the riots, Bristol has hardly been affected, a few splintered windows in Stokes croft and one raided shop in Cabots, but that has been repaired. It isn't anywhere near as bad as the riots in Stokes Croft a couple of months ago.

    Have fun tomorrow :)
