two more years.

Last week, at my mum's house, I saw around with my cats working on a commisson. A friend asked me to make a cushion for her to give to her husband, for their two year anniversary. You may or may not know, that every year you are married, you're supposed to give a specific gift to your other half.

She wanted a patchwork feel, and chose the backing fabric, and I went from there. I'm pretty pleased with the result, and hope the happy couple are too! It spurred me on to finish my laptop cover, and make more cushions for my bed! Cosy :)

  1. I love the cushion! I really wish i had more of a natural talent when it comes to crafts/DIY, i normally have to force myself into starting something before getting excited over it! The writing and fabrics used look so lovely.

  13. Man, you are talented! Dig your work. Also, I just spent like half an hour laughing at that list of things you're meant to give your S.O. Improved real estate? Tourmaline? Optical goods? Haha, my boy is lucky to get dinner.
