retro summer.

Pretty sure I mentioned this in my last outfit post, but I have been LOVING the mid-season sales. There have been so many awesome pieces that have caught my eye, and this dress was one of them. It has perfectly retro vibes, especially when teamed with some chunky shoes and a timeless bag.

I've been really getting into items with a retro or vintage feel - as well as beautiful genuine vintage pieces - over the last couple of months. When I saw this print, I had to immediately add this dress to my virtual shopping basket! And when it arrived I fell even more in love. It's quite short, but I can imagine it looking really cute and 60s with some coloured tights when it gets colder - not to mention the fact that I just found a coat in the ASOS sale that matches the blue details perfectly..

I wore it teamed with this cute little knitted top (that I recently picked up in a charity shop) last time the boy and I went on a little date to Soukitchen - it was the perfect, simply pretty, date night outfit!

Also, note that I have been wearing these shoes pretty much every day, so I'm thinking of buying another pair so I'll have some brand new ones for next summer!
