wahaca spring specials.

I love Mexican food, I really do. I also love getting lots of small plates and sharing all different kinds of food with whoever I'm dining with. So it's a no-brainer that I also love Wahaca.

My friend and I were invited to try out this month's specials, as well as a few other tasty morsels.

3 spring cocktails for easter weekend!

The sun is shining, and most of you will have four whole days off this weekend! What better excuse to tuck in to a few fancy cocktails?

Aldi got in touch and asked me to create another boozy blog post for them - you can see the last one here! - this time with a Springtime feel! Think fresh, juicy and floral.

easter treats!

I love Easter! It means that Spring is well and truly on its way! It's also a good excuse to see my family, eat chocolate, and spoil my beautiful nieces.

Last year, Pippa was only a tiny baby, so she didn't know what was going on. Now that she's 1, and Evelyn is 4, they can both enjoy it more! I haven't seen them in a couple of months either, so I thought I'd give them a few treats.

vintage pastel wedding outfit.

I love a wedding. Not only is it a gorgeous event full of love and lovely people, but it's a good excuse to dress up real nice.

Earlier this week I headed over to Whitchurch to celebrate Phoebe and Thom's wedding, and this is what I wore.

uk city guide : york.

Well, I think it's fair to say that York is one of the prettiest places I've ever been, and that I didn't have nearly enough time there.

It's so full of beautiful old buildings, narrow cobbled streets, and enough cute little cafes & shops to keep you busy for days, amongst many other things.

Bee and I travelled up by Cross Country trains on Thursday afternoon, watching the world go by, catching up, and wondering what our time in York would be like. We hopped in a taxi when we got there, greeted by the friendliest Yorkshire man of all time. This was a very good start.

Over the next few days there was lots of wandering around, eating, and soaking in some knowledge & inspiration at York Literature Festival. I was absolutely not ready to leave on Saturday afternoon, as there was still so much I wanted to do there.

Here is what we did manage to cram in..

meat free mondays at pieminister.

So what better time to head down to Pieminister's brand new restaurant to try out some of their veggie pies - including their newest creation submitted by one of you lot out there. Too much newness, can you even handle it?

mother's day.

I love what I do here on Being Little, but I love it even more when I get to treat my special people. Next got in touch about a little Mother's Day project and I had to get involved, as it meant I got to celebrate my lovely mum.

mathilda's chilli bar, bristol.

Mathilda's Chilli Bar has been on my list of eateries to try out since Lily blogged about it two years ago... I'm obviously not really a fast mover in any respect, but I finally headed to the Bear Pit one gloomy winter evening to warm my belly with some of that infamous chilli.
