win tickets to #YorkLitFest !

Book are magical, aren't they? I just love words. I've read and written ever since I could, although in the past few years it's been much more writing than reading. Sometimes I need a little inspiration, and a little push to get back into reading, instead of just watching the same stuff on Netflix every night.

Luckily for me, I'm heading up to the York Literature Festival in association with Baillie Gifford this March! I absolutely cannot wait, especially as I get to take book-nerd Bee with me! The festival runs for about 2 weeks and has so many amazing events - it was really difficult to only choose a few to go to.

There are all sorts of different events from poetry readings, a comic con, talks about how to get your work published. They also feature music, comedy, theatre and cinema in the programme! There's surely something for all tastes in there!

I've never been to York either, so I'm looking forward to exploring a new part of the UK. If you have any recommendations of places to visit, please let us know!

But hey, I'm not just here to brag. Oh hell no! One of YOU lucky humans could win tickets to one of the York Literature Festival's main events, passes to all of York's top attractions, and book tokens, all thanks to Visit York. See below to enter.

• Only available to UK entrants
• One person will win the whole bundle
• Winner must be able to make their way to York on the allocated date
• Competition is open until midnight on March 1st

  1. Gah! I live so close to York and never realised they have a bloomin book festival! Excited to put this in the diary!

  2. What a good prize! I'll be enjoying a mini-holiday on the Isle of Skye that weekend so I can't enter, but I hope you have a great time :)

  3. Like the commenter above I didn't know York had a proper book festival- I always go to the durham one, but seeing as I coincidentally have that week off work, I'll definitely be going to a few of the events.

  4. I've never been to a literature festival before. I didn't even know they existed but it sounds like a wonderful experience. Have a blast! :]
