accessorize @ #bristolfashionweek

Bristol Fashion Week is coming around again, kicking off on 30th September! As with the event earlier in the year, us bloggers were lucky enough to have a special preview - this time at the beautiful Accessorize store.

I rocked up at the Mall wearing my finest felt hat (you can't go to an event about accessories without any accessories on..) and was greeted by prosecco, tiny cakes & some friendly blogging faces. The store manager, Amy, showed us around all the trends that were on display for this autumn & winter.

Of course, there's the 70s, which has somehow become my favourite trend. I never thought that would happen! I think it's something about the colours. There are also boho vibes, with ponchos and patterns, and lots of felt hats.

As always there are LOTS of shiny, sparkly things - Accessorize is a magpie's dream! - and I was especially attracted to this rose gold leather clutch bag below. It really does get me excited for Christmas, seeing all this glitter! 

You all probably know that I'm not a big jewellery wearer - I like occasionally wearing simple rings and chains/small pendant necklaces, but that's it. Luckily, the Z range is full of things like that - such as the sweet L necklace you can see below. 

They've also got a huge new range of make up - some of which we got to take home to try out! I am really loving the highlighter & the copper eye shadow, and I'm eager to try this nude lip duo with a dark smokey eye! 

I think you'll agree that all of this season's stock is looking very appealing in Accessorize (I need that yellow tote!!) and I'm really looking forward to seeing some of it on the catwalks at Bristol Fashion Week!
