how to wear autumn with voucher codes.

I haven't been shopping for clothes in what seems like forever, so when Voucher Codes challenged me to find 3 ways to wear one of the AW13 trends for under £80, I couldn't say no! I wanted to show three outfit ideas for different occasions, to show how versatile this trend can be.

• charity shop headscarf • topshop lipstick & vest • new look shirt+ • primark skirt • river island boots •

First up, a comfy and cosy outfit (perfect for this cold snap that has suddenly appeared!) that is also relatively smart. Yes, this is my idea of smart. If you work in a relaxed environment, or even work from home, this could work well - your hair is off your face, you're covered up..

I love this versatile maxi skirt from Primark, pulled up a little higher to make it more of a midi. Teamed with a relaxed fit vest & plaid shirt - £14.99 - gives it a grungey feel. Leather-look flatform boots keep your toes cosy and give it that edge that this trend needs.

• topshop vest • urban outfitters skirt+ • charity shop flatforms •

This is more of a party look, with a distressed metallic vest that I've had for absolute years. The slouchy fabric is perfect for this trend, and when teamed with a fitted plaid skirt - £30 - works really well. I have to mention how ridiculously soft this skirt is as well! It's perfect for autumn & winter.

I added some plain black flatforms I found in a charity shop and mussed my hair up a bit to finish the look off! I think this would also look great with ripped tights if you're feeling brave. If you're not into the wooly feel of this skirt, I found a similar one with a few decorative zips in Zara!

• topman tee • topshop backback+ & jamie jeans • dr marten boots •

Finally, a fuss-free outfit with a plaid accessory for popping to the shops, or even wearing to college or uni. Pop your essentials and pencils in this cute tartan backpack - £30 - (which has adjustable straps, so you can also wear it across the body!) and stomp off to wherever you're going in Dr Marten boots, probably the grungiest boot ever.

I'm on the lookout for the perfect parka to complete this final look!

What's your favourite AW13 trend?
